Comparing plans from memory

AT&T Business’s mobile compare table showed one plan at a time. A 2022 redesign got it to two. Rewriting the copy got it to three, and the rebuilt table runs as a working prototype.

Picking a product without the scroll

64% of Brightspeed Business visitors arrive by phone, and the section listing what the company sells ran 2,257px straight down. I rebuilt it as tabs and a row you swipe, and handed it to development in 2024.

Murmuration

A flock of particles that gathers into an object, here a race car. I came up with shaping objects out of the flock for customer stories and storyboarded how each one forms, from a loose scatter to a held shape.

Device page fixes, still live on AT&T Business

Color swatches that disappeared against white, and one image per device. I designed both fixes in 2023. Open a phone on the AT&T Business site today and they are still there.

More than 750 freshworks.com pages moved onto one component library in 2025. I built and QA’d them to WCAG 2.1, checking each one against the page it replaced.

About me

About

I design what people use to apply, compare and buy, and the systems underneath. I like knowing why something’s broken before I fix it.

I got into design because I wanted the things people use every day to be a little less frustrating. The last few years have been enterprise products: the AT&T Business design system and buy flow at CGI, then Brightspeed’s design system and business site, then the applicant flow at Progress Residential. Now I’m on contract at Freshworks, on the Web Experience team behind freshworks.com.

Outside work I spend most of my time with my family. The rest goes to music, films, TV, anime and video games.

Where I stand

What I think

Design is human work, for humans. People come back to things that treat them well. Design that’s always pushing them to buy or click wears that down, and I don’t think it’s good for the business either.

  1. You shouldn’t have to guess

A lot of my work is making each step clear: what it is, why it’s being asked, and what happens after.

  2. It’s their call

People know what they need better than any flow I draw. I’d rather give them clear choices and an easy way back than one path to the next button.

  3. Build from what works

I grew up in the Bay on hip-hop, where the best records were built from pieces of other records. I design the same way: collect what’s good, work out why it works, then flip it into something that fits the problem.

  4. New tools, same eye

I build prototypes and sites with AI tools now, and they’ve changed how fast I can work. They still can’t tell when something feels off to the person using it. That part is on me.
